General Information & Registration
What is the Future Series?
The Future Series is a premier two-day showcase for underclassmen and upperclassmen to represent their home states (North or South Carolina). It serves as a symbol of achievement and a stepping stone to the next level of baseball.
When is the registration deadline?
The deadline for the North & South Carolina Future Series is June 26, 2026.
How are players selected?
Selections begin March 2, 2026. The scouting staff reviews player performance dating back from August 2025 to the current date.

Event Schedule & Itinerary
What is the format of the event?
The event is a two-day showcase:
Saturday: Skills evaluation (60-yard dash, defensive drills, and batting practice).
Sunday: Two competitive showcase games.
When are the specific event dates for my age group?
14U & 15U: August 8–9, 2026.
16U & 17/18U: August 15–16, 2026.
What time should I arrive?
Morning Sessions (14U & 16U): Check-in begins at 6:45 AM.
Afternoon Sessions (15U & 17/18U): Check-in begins at 2:00 PM.
Sunday Games: Players must arrive at their assigned field 60 minutes before game time.
Gear & Uniforms
What equipment will players receive?
Every player receives a loaded gear bag that includes:
• 2 Custom Jerseys
• Signature PG Hat
• Premium Player’s Bag
• Exclusive Apparel
• Custom Bag Tag
What is the required dress code?
To maintain a professional look, players must provide and wear:
White knickers or pro-style pants.
Belts and socks that match their All-State jersey colors.
Rules & Gameplay
What are the offensive guidelines?
The event uses a Continuous Lineup. All available players are included in the batting order. To ensure fairness, the batting order is typically flipped for the second game to balance at-bats.
What are the defensive and pitching rules?
Defense: We implement a rotational strategy so players can showcase at multiple positions and receive equal playing time.
Pitching: We follow standard Perfect Game pitching rules. Rotations are prearranged by coaches on Saturday.
Game Rules: Games follow a 5-batter maximum per inning rule. All other rules follow the Perfect Game National By-Laws.
How can I track stats during the games?
Live scoring and stats are provided via Diamondkast by Perfect Game staff.
Registration Deadline: Please note that the registration deadline is June 26, 2026 for North & South Carolina. Thank you!
Locations: All South Carolina attendees will be at North Greenville University, and those from North Carolina will be at Sims Legion Park. Both venues utilize turf surfaces.

PERFECT GAME BASEBALL (NORTH & SOUTH CAROLINA): Are you ready to represent your state? Join forces with players from your home state in North Carolina and South Carolina.
ITINERARY
The Futures Series Underclass and Upperclass events feature a two-day showcase format consisting of a comprehensive skills evaluation (60-yard dash, defensive drills, and batting practice) on Saturday followed by two competitive showcase games on Sunday.
PLAYER GEAR DISTRUBUTION
Every player receives a loaded gear bag including 2 custom jerseys, a signature PG hat, a premium player’s bag, exclusive apparel, and a custom bag tag. To maintain a professional look, players must wear white knickers or pro-style pants with belts and socks that perfectly match their All-State jersey colors.
FUTURE SERIES RULES
OFFENSE GUILDLINES
Use a Continuous Lineup: Include all available players in the batting order for every game.
This approach offers the benefits of a continuous lineup (everyone gets to bat) while aiming to balance at-bats for the entire weekend by flipping the order in the second game.
DEFENSE GUILDLINES
We will follow the standard Perfect Game pitching rules for all age groups. To ensure fair play and development, we will implement a rotational defensive strategy. Players will be moved between positions throughout the game, aiming to provide as close to equal playing time as possible.

Except for the rule modifications stated above, we will follow Perfect Game's National By-Laws and Rules.
